Holding a PhD in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin, she has authored multiple publications on governance, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution. Before joining the GS Foundation, Dr. Hoffmann worked with the German Foreign Office, where she played a pivotal role in shaping German foreign policy concerning development cooperation. In her current role, she is responsible for devising strategies to achieve the long-term objectives of the Foundation and leads the team setting the direction for future initiatives.
Hans Müller, a former police commander, brings over 30 years of experience in the security industry. With a Master’s in Public Administration from the Hertie School of Governance and a specialization in urban security and preventative policing, he has focused on the development of security technologies post his tenure in the police force. As a consultant for various European security authorities, he has significantly contributed to the advancement of security measures. At the GS Foundation, Mr. Müller leads a team of specialists dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge security technologies, providing practical solutions to the Foundation’s partners.
