On 13 January 2026, the GS-Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Training Base Weeze and the Training Center Retten & Helfen (TCRH). The agreement establishes a formal framework for future cooperation in the field of international security training and education.
By joining forces, the three partners combine complementary strengths. The GS-Foundation contributes its international network and strategic expertise in security sector reform, stabilization, and capacity development. Training Base Weeze provides modern training infrastructure and practice-oriented facilities at an international level, while TCRH brings long-standing experience in realistic crisis, emergency, and security training.
The MoU aims to strengthen coordination and exchange in the training of international security forces. It lays the foundation for a structured dialogue and for the potential development of joint, internationally oriented training and education formats.
“Together with Training Base Weeze and the Training Center Retten & Helfen, we are creating a strategic network that connects some of the largest and most capable security training facilities in Germany,” said Nicole Mechehrawi, CEO of the GS-Foundation.
Through this partnership, the GS-Foundation and its partners reaffirm their shared commitment to professional, sustainable, and practice-oriented security training, contributing to resilient and accountable security institutions worldwide.
