Chile and Colombia

From 17 to 21 August 2026, police leaders from Colombia and Chile are taking part in a joint leadership training programme in Germany. The training is being held at IBZ Schloss Gimborn as part of the Trilateral Police Project with Colombia and Chile. The programme brings together a delegation from the Policía Nacional de Colombia and a delegation from the Carabineros de Chile.

Three representatives from the Policía Nacional travelled to the German capital to engage in an in-depth examination of operational communications during an expert visit lasting several days. The visit was facilitated by the GS-Foundation, which is thankful for this valuable international exchange.

At the beginning of September, our colleagues Ronja Berner and Udo Möller travelled to Chile as part of the trilateral police reform project with Chile and Colombia. The project is financed by the German Federal Foreign Office. Together with our partners, they met representatives of Carabineros de Chile and discussed achievements as well as future priorities.
