In late March, a delegation from the Republic of Moldova – including representatives from the National Police, Border Police, and other internal security bodies – took part in a two-day workshop hosted by Thales in Bucharest.
From March 31 to April 4, 2025, GS-Foundation hosted its first Train-the-Trainer course of the year in Abuja, aimed at empowering Gender Desk Officers of the Nigeria Police Force in their response to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).
As part of our EQUALFORCE project, which promotes gender equality in policing and security institutions in Moldova and Ukraine, we had the pleasure of facilitating a high-level exchange last week in Kyiv. A delegation from the Moldovan police visited Ukrainian partner institutions for a multi-day program.
A delegation from the Republic of Moldova conducted a study visit to Podgorica, Montenegro, focused on sharing practices in the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325. The visit was supported by the Gender Association and the Embassy of Montenegro in Bucharest and the GS-Foundation.
As part of ongoing international collaboration, one of our February highlights was a specialized training program conducted with the Moldovan General Police Inspectorate in Chișinău. The focus of the training was on the operational use of an advanced robotic system designed for technical-explosive scenarios.
In December 2024, we celebrated the successful procurement and delivery of 10 container clinics for the Nigeria Police Force . Following the official handover ceremony in Lagos, the clinics began their journey to various police schools across Nigeria.
