GS-Foundation Awarded: Throwback to 70 Years of the Nigeria Police Force

On December 5, the GS-Foundation was honored to attend the 70 Years Anniversary Celebration Gala Night of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Gala Night marked a significant national milestone, celebrating seven decades of service, dedication, and responsibility of the Nigeria Police Force. During the event, the GS-Foundation received an award recognizing it as a reliable and strong partner of the NPF, with Georg Partenheimer formally receiving the award on behalf of the GS-Foundation.

The award was presented by the Honourable Minister for Women Affairs together with AIG Aishatu Abubakar, Gender Advisor to the Inspector General of Police.

The GS-Foundation was represented by Georg Partenheimer and ThankGod Umaje from the Nigeria team, as well as GS-Foundation trainers Arno Langanke and Frank Arnolds, who attended the celebration on behalf of the organization.

During the visit, discussions also took place with AIG Eze, the newly appointed Head of the Medical Directorate of the Nigeria Police Force. She expressed interest in potential support from the GS-Foundation. While such support is not possible within the current year, a formal invitation is expected, providing a basis for future dialogue and cooperation.

The significance of the anniversary was further emphasized by the presence of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, highlighting the national importance of the event.

The GS-Foundation sincerely thanks the Nigeria Police Force for the invitation, the recognition, and the warm hospitality, and congratulates the NPF on 70 years of outstanding service to society.
