Ensuring access to public safety services should not depend on geography. Yet in many rural and remote areas of the Republic of Moldova, limited infrastructure has long made regular police presence a challenge. The Mobile Police Stations initiative addresses this gap by laying the groundwork for modern, citizen-oriented policing that can reach local communities more effectively.
The project aims to strengthen the relationship between citizens and law enforcement by improving accessibility and visibility. Once fully equipped, the Mobile Police Stations are intended to enable police officers to engage directly with citizens, receive complaints, carry out prevention and information activities, and coordinate with local services. In emergency situations, they are designed to support faster response and effective intervention, contributing to safer and more resilient communities.
For the population of Moldova, this approach is expected to contribute to improved access to police services and a stronger sense of security—particularly in rural areas. A visible and approachable police presence plays a key role in building trust, confidence, and cooperation between citizens and law enforcement.
The units shown have been procured and will be officially handed over only after completion of the final interior fit-out in the next project phase.
This milestone would not have been possible without the dedicated work of our Procurement Team, whose professionalism, technical expertise, and careful coordination ensured a transparent and efficient procurement process.
