Together with the EUAM and the BKA, the GS Foundation organised a forensics course last week that focused on war crimes in Ukraine.
A Ukrainian delegation consisting of various investigators, forensic scientists and pathologists travelled to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Cologne. In the course, various disciplines and procedures were examined in more detail for all participants.

It was a pleasure for us to welcome the Ukrainian delegation to Cologne and thus help to process the war.
The week spent together was rated as extremely positive by all sides and the wish was expressed to organise another course in the future to build on this. We will keep you up to date.
