Security Sector Reform is an excellent opportunity to foster gender equality with a view to promoting gender-sensitive and accountable security sectors.

Gender equality is also an important principle in the German Government’s Strategy to Support Security Sector Reform. The project of the GS Foundation to further professionalize the Moldovan National Police is fully funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
