In the week from 18 to 24 September, our advisor and the responsible project manager travelled to Nigeria to visit the team on site and to attend various cooperation meetings.

Together, they looked at the progress made in the project so far and took a look into the future in order to further advance the police modernisation in Nigeria.

In addition to meetings with our cooperation partner UNDP, PORTO and Cleen were also involved in the close coordination with the GS Foundation. This allows us to assess the exact needs on the ground and consider measures that are tailor-made to the Nigerian Police Force.

Our project team is already working on the next ideas and is looking forward to an increase in staff in the near future.

All those involved look positively to the future and look forward to further and more intensive cooperation.
