Together with the Gender Asscociation we officially started our Gender “Train of Trainers” for the National Police. In a two week long program the participants learn how to implement the gender equality in the daily police work.

This program is one of our contributions to support the UN Resolution 1325, which advocates for women’s participation in peace processes and security matters – as well as to further gender equality and empowerment of women in the Moldovian National Police Force.

In this way, we strengthen the institutional position of women. In combination with a gender study and training for press officers, it reflects our complete gender project for the GPI.
