The GS Foundation will partner with the GIZ to implement the Programme to Build and Strengthen Police Structures in the Gambia. The programme is commissioned by the Federal Foreign Office and co-funded by the European Union. The lead executing agency will be the Gambia Ministry of the Interior. The overall objective of this programme is to improve the responsiveness to citizens’ needs and accountability, thereby promoting citizens’ security. Our Team Leader, Roland Trevisan, is looking forward to working closely with his Gambian counterparts in the field police stations Serekunda, Bakoteh, Bundung and Brusubi.
