The GS-Foundation, through its EQUALFORCE II project, organised an intensive two-day workshop in cooperation with the General Police Inspectorate (GPI) of the Republic of Moldova. Bringing together operational police officers and senior leadership, the workshop focused on identifying gaps in protection, improving risk assessment and strengthening threat management in high-risk domestic violence cases.

On 26 September 2026, the Border Marathon 2026 brought together representatives of the Moldovan Border Police and other security institutions, citizens, families and partner organisations in Moldova’s southern border region. Through its EQUALFORCE project, the GS-Foundation supported the event, which promoted inclusion, gender equality and stronger connections between security institutions and local communities.

The GS-Foundation is continuing its support for the institutional development of the Moldovan National Police as the ongoing evaluation of the General Inspectorate of Police (GIP) enters its second phase. The assessment aims to identify opportunities for institutional improvement and modernisation, contributing to the long-term development of effective and responsive policing structures in the Republic of Moldova.

On 24–25 September 2026, the GS-Foundation conducted a two-day training session on Risk Management in Project Writing for representatives of Moldova’s General Police Inspectorate (GPI). The training marked the third monitoring session organised for subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), contributing to the continued development of institutional capacities in project planning and management.

The GS-Foundation has officially handed over the new Drone Training Laboratory at the Ștefan cel Mare Police Academy in Chișinău to Moldova’s Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The laboratory will be used by the Police Academy and other subdivisions of the Ministry to strengthen practical training capacities for the civilian use of drones.

Following the two-day WASP Workshop in Moldova, the GS-Foundation continued its activities on 17 September 2026 with a refresher training for participants of the Training-of-Trainers course for drone pilots conducted in September 2025. The training brought together representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and its subdivisions who serve as drone-piloting instructors.

On 15 and 16 September 2026, the GS-Foundation conducted a two-day WASP Workshop in Moldova in close cooperation with the Inspectorate for Operational Management (OMI) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The workshop focused on strengthening inter- and intra-ministerial coordination for the civilian use of drones in the performance of public duties.
