The General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova officially received a new set of equipment from the GS-Foundation during a handover ceremony held in Chișinău.

GS-Foundation and Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs strengthen cooperation in the field of drone operations

On 11 May 2026, the GS-Foundation (GS-F) took part in a joint working group on drone operations, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova (MIA). Various sub-units of the Ministry took part in the event, including police services as well as operational and emergency services.

Strengthening institutional capacity through strategic monitoring and coordination

In April and May 2026, two specialist capacity-building workshops were held, bringing together representatives of Moldovan institutions working in the fields of civil protection and border management. The aim of the events was to strengthen project coordination, monitoring mechanisms and institutional preparedness in the context of European funding opportunities and the implementation of INTERREG projects.

Workshop on crime statistics in Abuja: Impulses for strategic policing in Nigeria

A two-day workshop on crime statistics took place in Abuja from 19 to 20 May 2026. Despite the tragic events that had taken place just a few days earlier, in which 17 police officers were killed in an ambush, high-ranking representatives of the Nigerian police took an active part in the event. Among the participants were nine Commissioners of Police and 13 Deputy Commissioners of Police.
