The safety of children, educators and school staff remains a priority in Ukraine. To further strengthen security measures in educational institutions, 185 sets of metal detectors have been delivered to the Educational Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The initiative was implemented by GS-Foundation with the support of the Federal Republic of Germany and contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance security standards in schools across the country.
Supporting the Educational Security Service
The Educational Security Service plays a key role in creating safe learning environments and fostering cooperation between students, educational institutions and law enforcement agencies. Officers assigned to schools help prevent security incidents, respond to potential threats and promote a culture of safety and trust.
The newly delivered metal detectors provide an additional resource for strengthening preventive security measures and improving access control in educational facilities.
