The General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova officially received a new set of equipment from the GS-Foundation during a handover ceremony held in Chișinău.
The event brought together representatives of the Border Police and the GS-Foundation to review the achievements of their ongoing cooperation and discuss future opportunities for collaboration. Particular attention was given to initiatives focused on aerial surveillance, the deployment of modern technologies, and the continued professional development of personnel.
Advancing Operational Capabilities
During the meeting, the Head of the Border Police, Ruslan Galușca, highlighted the significant contribution the partnership has made to the modernisation of the institution. He emphasised that the support provided by the GS-Foundation has strengthened border monitoring and intervention capabilities, enabling the Border Police to respond more effectively to operational challenges.
The investments delivered through this cooperation have enhanced border security while also improving services for citizens. The newly provided equipment and technologies will support faster interventions, more efficient coordination in the field, and improved responsiveness in high-risk situations.

A key moment of the ceremony was the signing of the official transfer documents, marking the formal handover of the equipment to the Border Police.
